The downstream version of OpenJDK recompiled by SAP supports Windows, Linux, MacOS and Docker.

Like a Google that has decided to produce its own version of Java to escape the Oracle Caudine Forks, SAP released a   "friendly" fork of the open source version of Java, called SapMachine. The Java  project, which began in December 2017, exploits the downstream version of OpenJDK  - the open source version of Java - maintained by the publisher.  Customers and partners of the software giant can use it to run their applications.
Although another Java distribution that could compete with other flights  of  companies such as those offered by Oracle, IBM, SAP maintains that it does not seek to divide the Java community.  "We want to emphasize that this is clearly a   friendly fork .  SAP is committed to ensuring the continued success of the Java platform, "wrote the publisher.  The latter further emphasized that he is part of the executive committee of the  JCP  (Java  Community Process)  and has contributed to  OpenJDK .
