Visual Studios gets a makeover in a new 2019 release

Visual Studios 2019 is finally a reality. Many new features are on the agenda for this integrated development environment (IDE), the most important of which is Live Share.

Since 2018, the 2019 version of this development tool has been available for a few days in Microsoft's virtual stalls. The latter intends to bury a Visual Studios 2017, yet very popular.

A facelift shot for Visual

Just about every area is concerned with software improvement. The new homepage of the program, without being transcendent, plays the card of modernity with a relatively refined presentation. This screen has been designed to quickly get to the heart of the matter with access to the most important and popular features as well as the most recent projects.
The interface has been slightly dusted but offers an ergonomics barely redesigned. There is at most only a slightly darned theme and a less impressive menu.

More effective aids

Another small victory: the search tool. It is now possible to delve into commands, settings and other installation options.
Visual Studios 2019 gives the impression of going further when the delicate step of code cleaning comes. Until then, the functionality was generally provided by complementary software. The option is now native and rich enough to set the elements to delete.
Among the other novelties, let's note the integration of the Pull Request model directly from GitHub. Same fight for the "Stash" feature of Git. There is also an upgrade on the Visual Studios IntelliCode side. The latter can now be enriched by developers, who can teach them their repositories and share them with their employees.

Live Share, THE big improvement

This is the program that is most highlighted on Visual Studios 2019. And for good reason: this tool to share its code in real time is the one that has evolved the most.
The fact that it is now included natively on the EDI is already a first step in itself. Compatibility with Python and C ++ is another, and not least, it only worked with Javascript, TypeScript and C #.
